Adventure doesn't always require traveling far—sometimes it unfolds right before our eyes. This morning, an extraordinary event unfolded in my backyard. The horses were grazing peacefully when they suddenly lifted their heads and snorted in alarm. We stood frozen in disbelief as a bull moose emerged, making his way down to the river with a slow, deliberate gait.
But sometimes a trip does pay off. Since spotting a bull moose is exceptionally rare, we were fortunate to also capture footage of a female moose feeding. The aquatic vegetation appeared to be a nutritious food source for her.
Now we've brought the family together. What a wonderful experience.
